Sally Hickman discovered the Lowcountry in the mid 70’s and now splits her time between here and Michigan. She has continued to grow and evolve from her early still life process. Sally has been immersed in oils and landscapes after working with a couple of well-known artists and having them mentor her. Her paintings are atmospheric and mysterious often tonal and devoid of color influenced by her Michigan winters.
