Jill McGannon Wins National Art Competition for April 2025

The 15th Annual PleinAir Salon Art Competition has announced its monthly winners for the April Competition. Jill McGannon has been selected as the winner of the Clouds & Sky Category with their painting titled, “Sublime Glow”. The judge for the April Competition was J. Ben Whiteside, owner of The Red Piano Gallery.
McGannon, along with the other 21 winners, is now entered into the Annual PleinAir Salon Art Competition that will be awarded in May 2026 at the 13th Annual Plein Air Convention & Expo. These artists will compete for a $15,000 cash grand prize, and for their painting to be featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine. All of the monthly winners will be included in a showcase in the July/Aug digital edition of Fine Art Connoisseur, and the print and digital Aug/Sept issue of PleinAir Magazine, the #1 best-selling representational art magazine nationwide.*
