The 12th Annual PleinAir Salon Art Competition has announced its monthly winners for the August Competition. Jill McGannon has been selected as the Best Clouds & Sky winner in the Clouds & Sky Category with their painting titled, “Nocturne in Grey and Gold”. The judge for the August Competition was artist, and 10th Annual PleinAir Salon Grand Prize winner, Lori Putnam.

McGannon, along with the other 22 winners, are now entered into the Annual PleinAir Salon competition being awarded in May 2023 at the Plein Air Convention & Expo. These artists will compete for a $15,000 cash grand prize, and for their painting to be featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine. All of the August monthly winners will be included in a showcase in the Dec/Jan issue of PleinAir Magazine, the #1 best-selling representational art magazine nationwide.*
